Work performed under this Contract shall comply with all applicable terms, conditions, and reporting requirements specified in the City of Menifee’s IFB, Standards, and Special Provisions. Subcontractors must comply with California Public Contract Code section 2600 et seq., which requires use of a skilled and trained workforce to perform all work on the agreements that fall within an apprenticeable occupation in the building and construction trades. OHLA is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Cement Masons and Carpenters Unions, non-signatory Subcontractors may be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under OHLA’s union agreements. Subcontractors may be required to provide 100% Payment and Performance Bonds from a surety acceptable to OHLA USA,Inc. OHLA USA, Inc. will reimburse for bond premium not to exceed 1% of subcontract. Assistance available in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related assistance or services and technical assistance. Flexible time frames for performance, delivery and breaking out portions of work into economically feasible packages to encourage participation may be discussed. OHLA USA, Inc. intends to conduct itself in “good faith” with all categories of disadvantaged, small, minority and women firms regarding participation on this project. Subcontractors are required to register with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), as required by Public Contract Code Section 1725.5, please furnish DIR Number with your quote submittal. Conditions or exceptions in Subcontractor’s quote are expressly rejected unless accepted in writing. Quotations are to remain valid for the same duration as specified by Owner for contract award. Include applicable DBE certifications issued and validated by pertinent agencies. Potential Subcontractors and Partners will be required to sign OHLA’s standard subcontract, a copy is available upon request.
