Scope of Services: Schedule A – Mission Canyon I Pipeline: The work comprises construction of approximately 850 linear feet of 12- inch PVC pipe including all appurtenances, connections to existing lines, services, and installation of new fire hydrant laterals. The proposed 12-inch PVC pipe will connect to an existing 6-inch CML&C pipe at Gibbel Road and to the existing Mission Canyon I tank. In addition, the work includes modifications to the above-ground piping and valve enclosure adjacent to the Mission Canyon I tank. Work shall include all restrained joints, valves, air valves, fire hydrants, water services, shoring and bracing per California Labor Codes, backfill, pavement removal, replacement and restoration, trench and pipeline dewatering, high lining service connections as needed, exposure and field welding of existing steel pipe joints, disinfection, traffic control, SWPPP, abandonment of the existing 4” ACP and filling as needed, and other related miscellaneous work. All work shall be in accordance with these specifications and contract drawings. Schedule B – Mission Canyon II Booster Pump Station Replacement: Under these Specifications the Contractor shall perform all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for construction of a complete and operable booster pump station, including all earthwork (including grading and importing select fill material and backfill material); connections to pipelines; site piping; SCE electrical service facilities; pre-packaged enclosed skid-mounted booster station, and a pre-packaged enclosed skid-mounted electric generator, motor control center, electrical conduit and wiring; and the demolition of the existing Mission Canyon II Pump Station. Site work includes drainage piping, a masonry wall fence, site lighting, a motor operated wrought iron gate, and concrete and asphalt paving. The pipeline work includes approximately 4,200 feet of new 12-inch PVC and approximately 1,000 feet of 8-inch PVC pipe to replace an existing 4-inch CML&C waterline including all pipe, trenching, backfill, compaction, temporary and permanent pavement, air valves, fire hydrants, valves, thrust blocks and restrained joints and all work required to complete the pipelines and pump station, complete, in place and operable in accordance with these specifications and the contract drawings. 2

Cold Planning, AC Paving, Landscaping, Saw Cutting, Traffic Control, SWPPP, Aggregates Supply, Pipes and
Fittings, Survey, Electrical, Demolition, Fencing, & Trucking

• Project subject to WEEKLY- payroll reporting, there will be NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS REQUIREMENT
• Project is subject to DAVIS BACON WAGES.
• Sub-Contractors will be subject to comply with Insurance requirements thru-out the duration of the
project.
SUB-CONTRACTORS/ SUPPLIERS/ MANUFACTURES SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND/OR DBE CERTIFICATES, WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE RECEIVED IN OUR OFFICE- ONE BUSINESS DAY PRIOR, TO THE BID OPEING. REF.

SPECIFICATION PAGE NUMBERS (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) :
• Contractors and subcontractor(s) that are a DBE/WBE/MBE and shall submit proof of certification.
• Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish
to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be
registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No bid will be accepted, nor any contract
entered into without proof of the contractor’s and subcontractors’ current registration with the
Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and
its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial
Relations for the duration of the project.
