General work description: The “Work”, in general, consists of construction of a new leachate pond and leak detection system including clearing & grubbing, watering, earthwork, stockpiling, constructing access roadway, installing below grade piping and valves, screening excavated material, mixing screened materials with bentonite, and water, placing and compacting clay materials, performing conformance testing on geosynthetic materials, installing geosynthetic clay liner, installing geomembrane, and installing geonet.
