This project generally includes but is not limited to the Improvements of approximately 6.6-acre site: 1. Demolition of existing curb, gutter, and asphalt along Henderson ave. 2. Construction of a community center, parking lot, Mini-pitch soccer field, splash pad, challenge course, rock climbing boulder, pump track, fitness areas, sidewalks, trash enclosure, picnic areas, shade structures, playground, and landscaping. 3. Electrical utilities, including the extension of new service to the site for community center, pedestrian and parking lot lighting. 4. Site utilities, including storm-drain, sewer and water. 5. Stormwater management utilizing bmps including bioretention basins. 6. New irrigation system utilizing recycled water and potable water at new points of connection. 7. New tree, shrub, and turf-grass planting.
Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to: Dust Control, Traffic Control, Perform Utility Potholing/Locating, Demolition, Clearing, And Grubbing, Asphalt Milling, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, Construction Notification Sign, Fill Dirt, Landscape, Irrigation, Park Furniture, Park Equipment, Sport Field/S, Asphalt Paving, Pavement Striping, Minor Concrete, Pipe And Tube Railings, Structural Steel, Rough/ Finish Carpentry, Roofing, Painting, Fire Protection Specialties, Window Shades, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Trucking See Plans & Specs for complete list of bid items.
We are signatory to both the Carpenters Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Laborers Collective Bargaining Agreement. Certification of insurance for General Liability and Workers’ Compensation are required. A Waiver of Subrogation will also be required with all Subcontract Agreements. Subcontractors’ faithful performance and payment bonds in the amount of the subcontract price will be required. Reasonable market rate bond premium will be reimbursed by Thompson Builders Corporation.
TBC is willing to discuss breaking down bid items into economically feasible units for minority participation. Our estimating department is available for assistance with bonding, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies and/or materials.
