Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to:
Pipe Supplier; Traffic Control Supplier; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Temporary Railing (Type K); Remove Concrete; Clearing & Grubbing; Roadway Excavation; Grading; Ditches Excavation; Imported Borrow; Hydroseeding; Erosion Control; Temporary Erosion Control ; Aggregate Base (Ab); Concrete Pumping; Asphalt Concrete; Paving Asphalt (Asphalt Concrete); Place Asphalt Concrete Dike & Misc; Minor Concrete Structure; Reinforcing Steel; Roadside Sign; Alternative Pipe Culvert; Filter Fabric; Rock Slope Protection (Rsp); Saw Cutting; Crash Cushion; Message Signs, Lighting & Sign Illumination; Traffic Management/ Operations; Super 10 Dump Truck; Flat Bed Trucking; Water Truck ; End Dump Truck ; Street Sweeping Truck ; Hazardous Substance Removal; Hazardous Waste Trucking
The DBE Contract goal is 22 percent.
The estimated cost of the project is $4,060,000

Requirements:
Granite is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. This will be a prevailing wage job. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, DIR registration number, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
