The estimated construction is $2,700,000.00
Prevailing Wage: The work described is pursuant to California Labor Codes 1770 and 1771.
Project Labor Agreement: All Bidders are hereby notified that the District has a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) in effect on the Project and all contractors and subcontractors bidding this project will be required to comply with the PLA.
DVBE Participation Goal: The District has a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (“DVBE”) Participation Goal Program (“the DVBE Program”) which establishes a three percent (3%) Participation Goal for DVBEs. All Bidders are required by the District, pursuant to the DVBE Program, to submit DVBE Worksheets that confirm two (2) advertisements were published at least 14 days prior to bid opening.

The Project is generally described as:
Abatement and demolition of existing flooring, chalkboards and tackwall, installation of new flooring, markerboards, tackwall, interior paint throughout area of work (doors, walls, lockers), repair/replacement of a few doors, selected door hardware replacements, acoustic ceiling tile replacement, replacement in kind of toilet room accessories, and refurbishment of classroom countertops, as well as other minor scope. Telecom scope includes design and construction of a new public address headend, new CCTV system, and additional structured cabling to accommodate new WiFi access points (WAP) in each classroom, and office areas.
