Wastewater Treatment Facility Sludge Dewatering Improvements project
for the City of Pismo Beach

Location of work:  550 Frady Lane, Pismo Beach, CA  93449

Bids due:  February 20, 2020 before 2:30PM PDT

Base Bid consists of construction of Sludge Dewatering Facility, including the following: Demolition of existing buried structures, screw press, rotary drum thickener, CMU building, TWAS pump improvements, site civil improvements, and repair and reconstruction of existing improvements affected by the Work, and incidentals for complete and usable facility.

Bid Alternate 1 consists of rehabilitation of Clarifier No. 1 and No. 2 including prepare, blast clean and coat clarifier mechanical systems (total two clarifiers), abandon 1-1/2” PVC chlorine pipe at clarifiers (total two clarifiers), replace clarifiers’ equipment/parts, weld damaged feedwell section, and weld damaged drive cage support truss member.

Scopes of work and materials include but are not limited to:  Site construction, concrete, masonry, metals, FRP fabrications, thermal & moisture protection, doors & windows, high-performance coatings, signage, fire protection specialties, truck scales, equipment, special construction, shafted screw conveyor, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation & controls.
