General work description: The Project scope includes the reconstruction of asphalt concrete pavement, replacement of airfield lighting and signage, installation of updated pavement markings, and drainage improvements.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified SBE/DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Highway, street, and bridge construction, Asphalt supplier(bulk item), Construction staking, Traffic flagger, Reset, relocate, adjust, modify roadway items, Plane asphalt concrete, Grading, Seal coat (tack coat), Paving asphalt (asphalt concrete), Minor concrete structure, Reinforced concrete pipe, Painted traffic striping & marking, Remove pavement marking & traffic stripes, Lighting (installation of street lights), Swppp planning, Water truck , Street sweeping truck , Trucker

The SBE Contract goal is 7.4% percent. DEB’s will count towards the SBE goal. Federal-aid project no.: 8983.61  Please let us know which bid items will be covered in your proposal and if you can get 3rd DBE participation to help us meet the SBE/DBE Goal 7.4%.

The estimated cost of the project is $21,000,000.00

Requirements: Firms must possess & provide current contractor’s license number & DIR Registration number on the quote.  No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price.
