General work description: “Onsite” work may include but not be limited to the following: furnish all labor, materials and equipment to construct the State Street Water Treatment Project including pretreatment, Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) System, regenerable Ion Exchange System (IX), Ion Exchange Pre-engineered metal building, Chlorine Gas Disinfection Systems, Waste Tank, Yard Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Integration as identified on the plans and within the project specifications. “Offsite” work may include but not be limited to the following: furnish all labor, materials and equipment to construct the State Street Water Treatment Facility Off-site Pipelines and Fiber Optic Line including dual 6” gravity mains, 16” raw water line, fiber optic facilities, paving, as identified on the plans and within the project specifications.

Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to:
Construction Survey, Mitigation Monitoring And Reporting Program Compliance, Cartridge Filters, Gac System (Calgon), Gac Backwash And Waste, Ion Exchange System (Calgon Isep), Ix System Installation, Ix Building, Chlorine Dosing, Site Work, Yard Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Site Shoring, Project Signs, Well Destruction (Additive Bid Item), Temporary Pump (Additive Bid Item), Hazard Removal, Potholing, Excavation, Backfill, Pavement Restoration, Install 48” & 60" Dia Manhole, Traffic Control, Fiber Optic Handhole/ Pull Box, 2" Hdpe Sch 80 Conduit With Fiber Optic Cable, 4" Blowoff Assembly, 2" Combination Air Valve Assembly, 16" Butterfly Valve Assembly, 16" Ductile Iron Pipe, Asphalt Base, Concrete Pavement, Aggregate Base, Asphalt Concrete Pavement Grind And Overlay

PLEASE NOTE:

• Project subject to WEEKLY- payroll reporting, there will be NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS REQUIREMENT
• Project is subject to DAVIS BACON WAGES.
• Sub-Contractors will be subject to comply with Insurance requirements thru-out the duration of the project.

SUB-CONTRACTORS/ SUPPLIERS/ MANUFACTURES SUPPORTINGDOCUMENTS AND/OR DBE CERTIFICATES, WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE RECEIVED IN OUR OFFICE- ONE BUSINESS DAY PRIOR, TO THE BID OPEING. REF. SPECIFICATION PAGE NUMBERS (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) :

• Contractors and subcontractor(s) that are a DBE/WBE/MBE and shall submit proof of certification.

• Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No bid will be accepted, nor any contract entered into without proof of the contractor’s and subcontractors’ current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the project.
