General work description:  Work includes the following: 1. Construction of an above ground reinforced concrete pumping plant approximately 21 feet x 25 feet x 15 feet by extending the existing Rheem Pumping Plant building; furnishing and installing two (2) 100-HP vertical turbine pumps and motors; furnishing and installing a 6-inch surge/relief valve; furnishing and installing motor control centers (MCC), control panels, HVAC, and bridge crane; furnishing and installing replacement isolation and check valves; furnishing and installing radio and yagi antenna; furnishing and installing switchboard and transformer; electrical rehabilitation of Rheem Pumping Plant with rewinding two (2) 125 HP motor stators; construction of site improvements, and performing related required work as shown on the drawings and specified; located on District property on 341 Rheem Boulevard, Moraga, in Contra Costa County, California. 2. Demolition of the existing Fay Hill Pumping Plant vault including all equipment and appurtenances; installing blow offs, replacing existing driveway, and performing related required work as shown on the drawings and specified; located on District property on 420 Moraga Road, Moraga, in Contra Costa County, California. 3. Removing from service 850 feet of 12-inch and 6-inch Mortar Lined and Plastic Coated Steel (ML&PCS) pipe; furnishing and installing approximately 3,700 feet of 12-inch ML&PCS pipe and performing related required work located in Rheem Boulevard, Moraga, in Contra Costa County, California. 4. Replacing approximately 575 feet of 12-inch ML&PCS pipe and performing related required work located in Fay Hill Road, Moraga, in Contra Costa County, California. 5. Installation of a below ground precast concrete vault for the new Ridgewood Regulator; furnishing and installing two (2) 6-inch regulator valves and all associated components and piping; and performing related required work as shown on the drawings and specified located near 2050 Ridgewood Road, Alamo in Contra Costa County, California. 6. Demolition of the existing Ridgewood Pumping Plant, and all pumps, motors, electrical components, and associated piping; site restoration and performing related required work as shown on the drawings and specified located on District property on 1691 Ridgewood Road, Alamo in Contra Costa County, California. 7. Demolition of the existing Ridgewood Pressure Tank including removal of the 3,000-gallon steel tank and concrete foundation; site restoration and performing related required work as shown on the drawings and specified located near 2085 Ridgewood Road, Alamo in Contra Costa County, California. 8. Furnishing and installing four (4) 20-inch high performance butterfly valves and one (1) 12-inch high performance butterfly valve; furnishing and installing four (4) 20-inch and one (1) 12-inch motor-actuated flow control valves and spool pieces to replace existing five (5) 20-inch motor-actuated flow control valves, four (4) 20-inch check valves, one (1) 12-inch check valve, five (5) 24-inch AWWA butterfly valves, and two (2) 12-inch AWWA butterfly valves; and performing related required work as shown on the drawings and specified located at Scenic East Pumping Plant on District property behind San Ramon Valley Fire Station 35, located at 505 Silver Oak Ln, Blackhawk in Contra Costa County, California. 9. At the San Ramon Creek Crossing Site furnishing and installing approximately 80 feet of 12-inch diameter steel water main and performing related required work located in Right of Way 3363, in Danville, Contra Costa County, California.

Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to: Stucco, Demolition, Concrete, Paintings/Coatings, Roofing, Metals, Pipe Suppliers, Finishes, Pumping Plant Electrical Equipment, Electrical, Fencing, Hydroseeding. See plans & Specs for complete list of bid items.

We are signatory to both the Carpenters Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Laborers Collective Bargaining Agreement.  Certification of insurance for General Liability and Workers’ Compensation are required.  A Waiver of Subrogation will also be required with all Subcontract Agreements. Subcontractors’ faithful performance and payment bonds in the amount of the subcontract price will be required.  Reasonable market rate bond premium will be reimbursed by Thompson Builders Corporation.
