Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE/DVBE/MBE/WBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited toConcrete & cement supplier(bulk item), drainage systems supplier, guard railing & barriers supplier, construction area signs, traffic control system, traffic flagger, plane asphalt concrete, remove concrete, clearing & grubbing, develop water supply, roadway excavation, embankment construction, imported borrow, erosion control, aggregate  base (ab), paving asphalt (asphalt concrete), minor concrete structure, reinforcing steel, roadside sign, saw cutting, object marker, "concrete barrier (permanent), (all concrete barrier types)", crash cushion, thermoplastic traffic striping & marking, painted traffic striping & marking, remove pavement marking & traffic stripes, pavement marker, maintaining existing traffic mgmt system elements during construction, signal & lighting (furnishing, installing, modifying or removing ), traffic count station, lead compliance, swppp planning, biological resources studies, water truck , trucker, demolition
The DBE Contract goal is 18 percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACST-S001 (668)E Please let us know which bid items will be covered in your proposal and if you can get 3rd DBE participation to help us meet the DBE Goal 18%.

The estimated cost of the project is $27,000,000.00

Requirements: Firms must possess & provide current contractor’s license number & DIR Registration number on the quote.  No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price.
