DBE Subs/Suppliers required include but are not limited to: CPM scheduling, construction area signs, traffic control, temporary erosion control, environmental mitigation, clearing and grubbing, roadway and structure excavation and backfill, imported borrow, trucking, landscape planting, irrigation, decomposed granite, hydro mulch, hydroseeding, class 2 aggregate base, hot mix asphalt, demolition, groove bridge deck, mechanically stabilized embankments, furnish and drive steel piling, CIDH piling, prestressing CIP concrete, furnish concrete, structural concrete bridge, approach slabs and headwalls, minor concrete flatwork, storm drain material supply, storm drain installation, form liners, drill and bond dowels, PTFE bearings, joint seal assembly (bridges), bar reinforcing steel, bridge removal, supply reinforced concrete pipe, jack and bore pipe, steel casings, rock slope protection, storm drain structures, steel casings, miscellaneous metals (bridge), bridge deck drainage system, adjust utilities to grade, anti-graffiti coating, fence and gates, handrailing, guard rail, guar rail end treatments, concrete barrier, signing and striping, electrical, lighting, surveying, quality control inspection and testing, material supply, sweeping, equipment rental, water truck rental. Ames Construction, Inc. will work with subcontractors and suppliers to breakdown items into economical feasible packages and to establish delivery/construction schedules to allow for maximum DBE participation.
Ames will require bidder to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Subcontract values. Costs of the bonds are to be provided as a separate line item. Ames’ Subcontract terms and conditions will apply to any contracts resulting from this request. The Subcontractor, by submission of its bid, agrees to the “Terms and Conditions” including all Exhibits and Attachments of Ames Subcontract Agreement.
