Scope of Services: The work to be performed consists, in general, of temporary traffic control, excavation of the existing failed slope, removal of existing pavement, construction Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) retaining wall, installing overside drainage system, paving of hot mix asphalt, and placing hot mix asphalt dikes.

Scope of Work: Develop Water Supply, Temporary Traffic Control, Prepare Water Pollution Control Program, Clearing and Grubbing, Structure Excavation, Structure Backfill, Rolled Erosion Control Product (Blanket), Fiber Rolls, Hydroseed, Class 2 Aggregate Base, Hot Mix Asphalt (Type A), Place Hot Mix Asphalt Dike (Type A), Mechanically Stabilized Embankment, 8" Corrugated Steel Pipe Downdrain (.079" Thick), Anchor Assembly, Downdrain Energy Dissipator, Rock Slope Protection (Light, 150 LB, Class III, Method B), Rock Slope Protection Fabric (Class 10), Mobilization

Requirements: Griffith Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. 100% performance and payment bonds required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Griffith’s requirements. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator.
