Papich Construction Company Is requesting quotations from all qualified SB, SDB, HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB Sub-contractors and Material suppliers for the following project: Agency: U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration | CA FTNP SEKI 13(2) General work description: General work description: The scope includes pulverization of the existing pavement, aggregate base placement, and asphalt paving of the roadway. Parking lots will be rehabilitated or paved to improve visitor access. Soldier pile walls, soil nail walls, and areas of special rock embankment will be constructed throughout the project to stabilize the roadway. The project also includes drainage improvements such as ditch paving and grading, inlet installation, culvert replacement, and inlet and outlet protection measures. The Mineral King Road Project is in remote mountainous terrain with areas of limited roadway bench width. Public access will have to be maintained during construction with intermittent allowable closures depending on season and time. The road is inaccessible during winter due to extreme weather and snowpack. The project is in an environmentally sensitive resource area within the National Park Service. Estimating Dept. Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to: Survey And Staking, Contractor Quality Control, Contractor Testing, Construction Schedule, Soil Erosion Control, SWPPP, Watering For Dust Control, Clearing And Grubbing, Removal Of Structures And Obstructions, Subexcavation, Ditch, Excavation, Shoulder, Excavation, Placed Riprap, Boulder , Special Rock Embankment, Mechanically-Placed , Contractor Furnished Wall Design, Concrete Lagging , Roadway Aggregate, Roadbed Reconditioning, Full Depth Reclamation, Cementitious Material , Asphalt Concrete Pavement, Antistrip Additive, Fog Seal, Prime Coat, Blotter, Tack Coat , Steel H-Pile, In Place, Pre boring , Concrete, Headwall, Pipe Culvert, Spillway Assembly , Pipe Anchor Assembly, Curb, Asphalt, Paved Ditch, Asphalt , Dry Stacked Stone Masonry Headwall, Dump Truck, Equipment Rental, Seeding, Hydraulic Method , Placing Conserved Topsoil, Mulching, Hydraulic Method , Rolled Erosion Control, Sign System , Object Marker, Delineator, Remove And Reset Sign, Temporary Traffic Control, Field Office Requirements: At the time of the bid, all subcontractors must possess a valid and relevant California Contractors License, a valid DIR registration number, meet the project’s minimum insurance requirements, and be 100% bondable. All subcontractor, supplier, and trucking proposals must be in strict accordance with the project plans, specifications, and any addenda issued. In addition, all Supplier and Subcontractors will be required to execute Papich’s standard subcontract or purchase order agreement (available upon request). Waiver of Subrogation will be required. Papich is a signatory contractor and will require a one-time job agreement for any non-union Subcontractors. Submission of a proposal shall constitute subcontractor, supplier, or trucker acceptance of all terms as listed above. Any attempted deviation or revision to said terms shall not be recognized by Papich. Papich can offer DBE firms assistance with bidding this contract including but not limited to: reducing items of work into smaller scopes, providing reimbursement for payment/performance bond premiums, and providing assistance obtaining materials. All requests for assistance must be made prior to the project bid date. Additionally, DBE firms must possess a valid and current certification to be considered for this contract.
