Project Location: The Springfield Water Consolidation Project is located in unincorporated northern Monterey County, California, approximately 2 miles north of Moss Landing.

The project spans areas along Springfield Road, Struve Road, the Moss Landing Mobile Home Park, and nearby agricultural lands. Specific locations include the Moss Landing Middle School site and surrounding areas near McClusky Slough, Bennett Slough, and Elkhorn Slough

The Project includes the following Work:  The project to expand and enhance the Springfield Water System includes well equipping, well modifications, two new 110,000 gallon bolted steel water storage tanks, chlorination facilities, site improvements, electrical and lighting improvements, electrical and chemical building, back-up generator, pump station, approximately 12,500 linear feet of new 6- and 8-inch potable water distribution system piping in public roads and private easements including a new cased crossing across State Route 1, and water service laterals from the main to private residences and businesses. The Project also includes removal and/or abandonment of the existing Springfield Water System and the Moss Landing Mobile Home Park Well including well destruction, as well as destruction of two private wells.

Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to:
1. JACK AND BORE
2. STEEL TANK CONSTRUCTION
3. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS FOR SITE POWER, COMMUNICATION IMPROVEMENTS, AND
BACKUP GENERATOR INSTALLATION
4. CONCRETE CONTRACTORS FOR PUMP STATION FOUNDATIONS, TANK PADS AND
OTHER STRUCTURES
5. EROSION CONTROL AND HYDROSEEDING SPECIALISTS FOR STORMWATER
MANAGEMENT AND SITE RESTORATION
